What you need to know

Where to stay

If you are traveling to Albuquerque for the workshop I recommend you stay at Hampton Inn Albuquerque University /  Midtown Location  - 2300 Carlisle Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110 (505) 837-9300.

This location is close to the workshop venue and has an amazing food court / brewery right across the street. 

Would you prefer to stay at the venue? - I have 2 rooms that are available to rent for the workshop. They are available the evening prior to the beginning of the workshop with checkout on the day after the workshop concludes. 

~ Anyone staying at the venue is free to utilize the kitchen in the evenings. ~

Primary Guest - King Size Bed, Full Private Bathroom, Internet TV. Breakfast is provided for the duration of your stay - $125.00 a night.

Hallway Guest - Queen Size Bed, Hallway Bathroom, (shared with the students during class) Internet TV, Breakfast is provided for the duration of your stay. - $100.00 a night.

Breakfast Includes - Coffee, OJ, Fresh Fruit, Croissant w/ butter and jam and yogurt options.

What to bring

Tools: You do not need to bring anything with you but the cabochons that you want to work on. 

I provide a complete workstation for each participant.

Clothes: Albuquerque weather can be ... surprising. Check the forecast prior to packing!

Food: I provide lunch & an afternoon snack each day and will do my best to accommodate any food concerns or allergies.  You can store any special food items that you bring in the refrigerator. 

Albuquerque Class Materials 

Below is list of materials that are suggestions for the class participants to have on hand. You can bring your own or you can let me gather these items for you and have them ready for you when you arrive.
